Verify your next lot before you pay.

A lab tells you a sample passed. AgroBid makes sure that sample is your container: independent sealed A/B/C sampling, accredited-lab testing, and one dispute-ready evidence pack per lot — so payment moves on proof, not promises.

New to us? Start small — verification-only on a supplier you already use.

The problem
279RASFF notifications on spices & herbs, 2025 — largest category: pesticide residues.

A supplier's COA tells you what some batch tested like — not whether it's the batch in your container. When a lot fails at destination, you're left with a dispute and no evidence trail.

How it works

One spec in. One documented lot out.

01

You send your spec

Grade & density (500/550 g/l), moisture, residue panel, volume, Incoterm. One form, ten minutes — we reply with a fixed quote.

02

Spec-to-Lot Dossier

$900–1,200 · $300 deposit

Supplier shortlist matched to your spec: KYB snapshot, outreach status, available lot data, lab & inspection route, and a straight go / no-go memo.

03

Verification coordination

$1,500–2,000 + third-party at cost

Sealed A/B/C sampling by an independent inspector, container sealed on sampling, accredited lab panel to your spec, photo and seal-number documentation.

04

Deal support

Flat $1,500 · or 0.5–0.75% GMV

Payment moves on documented conditions — through your bank's documentary terms (LC / documentary collection) or a licensed escrow partner. Funds never pass through AgroBid.

Who runs this

A founder-led desk — not a faceless portal

I'm Alex — a senior software engineer building trade infrastructure for fraud-prone commodities, starting with the Vietnam→EU pepper corridor. You deal with a named person who owns the outcome. Physical inspection and lab testing are done by independent inspection companies (SGS, Control Union, Vinacontrol or other buyer-approved providers) and accredited laboratories — you rely on their reports and sealed samples, not on my word.

Independence, in writing

AgroBid is paid by the buyer to reduce the buyer's risk. Being impartial — and being seen to be impartial — is the whole product.

  • We do not trade the commodities we verify.
  • We take no commission from suppliers for a "pass".
  • We never hold your funds — a licensed partner does.
  • Every finding is tied to a sealed sample and a seal number.
Standards

We coordinate accredited partners — honestly

AgroBid is not itself a laboratory or an accredited inspector. We coordinate independent partners that hold the relevant accreditations, and we cite the specific ones for each lot in the evidence pack.

ISO/IEC 17025 — testing labs ISO/IEC 17020 — inspection bodies Accredited residue panels (EU MRL, Reg. 396/2005) NMR authenticity (honey) GAFTA / FOSFA contract terms — where applicable

We name the accrediting body and scope for the specific lab used on your lot. We never claim accreditations the desk itself does not hold.

Questions
Why not just ask the supplier for a COA?
A COA without chain of custody proves nothing about your container. Our A/B/C sealed-sampling protocol ties the lab result to the exact lot, with seal numbers and photos.
What if the lot fails testing?
Then the evidence pack just saved you a container. Payment conditions are agreed before anything ships; retest rules and a claims protocol are part of the contract.
Who holds the money?
Not us. Your bank's documentary terms (LC / documentary collection) or a licensed escrow partner. AgroBid holds the workflow, documents and dispute evidence — never your funds.
You're a solo desk — why trust you over a big TIC firm?
You don't rely on us — you rely on the accredited labs and independent inspectors whose reports and sealed samples make up the pack. What we add is sourcing, chain-of-custody and a dispute-ready file in one engagement, with a named person accountable and fast, direct communication.
Can you verify a supplier I already work with?
Yes. Verification-only mode applies the same protocol to your existing supplier's next lot. Many buyers start here.
